Mr. Elster has been an investigator in the Denver area for over 15 years. He is known, trusted and respected by some of the most influential attorneys, police officers and Judges in the metro area. He specializes in criminal defense investigation, working closely with defense attorneys to review and confirm facts, interview witnesses and author reports. Mr. Elster is a frequent trial advocate and has participated in countless litigated matters. In addition to criminal work, Mr. Elster has participated in, and completed investigations for countless civil cases, including personal injury and domestic relations matters. Mr. Elster also has the unique distinction of contracting with the Office of Alternate Defense Counsel in Colorado. This contract allows direct appointment in state funded criminal defense matters.

In his free time Mr. Elster enjoys spending time with his three children and climbing Colorado’s 14ers with his wife.
